The Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Federation of the USA was formed in 1956 by Frank Kovacs. The JJBBF serves as the governing body for all of the black belts promoted in Minna Jiu Jitsu. There are approximately 4,000 Minna Jiu Jitsu black belts currently in the United States.
